Eugene Systema Seminar with Kaizen Taki

Eugene Systema will be hosting Kaizen Taki again this year for a one day Systema Seminar on Sunday, January 29th from 1pm to 5pm. Kaizen is a certified Systema Instructor under Vladimir Vasiliev with extensive teaching experience. Kaizen conducts seminars nationwide to diverse groups of martial artists, and will present unique aspects of Systema at this exclusive Eugene Seminar.

This seminar will be held in association with the 2012 Pacific Martial Arts Conference. On Saturday Kaizen will teach a short segment on Systema at PacMAC, and on Sunday he will teach a four hour seminar.

The content covered will be appropriate for both “beginner” and “advanced” martial arts practitioners interested in exploring the unique training methods of Systema. The cost is only $50. See attached flyer for further details.

It’s going to be a great event! Hope to see you there.

Eugene Systema will be having a Winter Seminar on Sunday, December 11. Please join us for this four hour training intensive. We will be exploring Systema training methods for both unarmed and armed confrontation, with a focus on breathing, recovery, and internal control.

The cost for the seminar is $25, payable on arrival. The content covered will be appropriate for both “beginner” and “advanced” martial arts practitioners. No experience in Systema is necessary. Loose pants and a t-shirt are fine for training. Please bring a training knife if you have one.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Class cancelled for Oct. 12th

Please note that group class this Wednesday, October 12th, is cancelled. I will be out of town. Regular weekly training will resume on Wednesday, Oct 19th. Hope to see you there.

Remember, there’s a lot you can do on your own to continue your Systema training this week. Core exercises, transitions to the ground, walking, rolling, and recoveries are just a few ideas for solo training and great ways to practice breathing/internal control and smooth movement.

In the meantime, hope to see you for training. We practice Wednesday nights from 7:30-9pm at Best Martial Arts Institute in Eugene, Oregon. For now, see our flier on the BMAI website for more details.

Please contact me through the website if you are interested in setting up a private lesson, small group class, or seminar.
